Wendy writes, edits and produces the Nerdy Book family of products. But, more important, she is the voice of the Nerdy characters that accompany each tip. (The tomboy in the basketball jersey is a combination of Wendy and her childhood friend Shelli.)
Wendy's years of experience as a software trainer and graphic designer has helped to make her an expert at using and writing about software tips, tricks and shortcuts. Her sarcasm and sense of humor along with love of software have given her a unique ability to present these tips in a fun, easy-to-remember way.
In 1995, Wendy founded Software School, a training company that specializes in graphic design and custom software training. While operating Software School, Wendy, along with her partner Bob Flisser, founded Nerdy Books after years of planning and contemplation.
Wendy is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She lives along the Delaware River in New Jersey with her understanding husband, Will, and two children, Tess and Tucker.
