100 things

Next week is a special week for my second grader. She is so excited. I'm not. For Valentine's day, she is expected to bring a Valentine's day card for each kid in her class. And, for the 100th day of school, her assignment is to bring a collection of 100 "things". That's about 6,000 things for the second grade alone.

So, I'm thinking 100 lady bugs (we won't miss them); she's thinking 100 pencils. My son's thinking 100 Yugioh cards and his class isn't even participating. What I should have her do is bring 100 pieces of homework paper from the bags I've collected so far this year. I'm still not sure what I'll do with the paper I accumulate. According to my friend on the Board, if I complain, I better be ready to do something about it!

My assignment was to bring paper products to the party next week - I hope they like recycled. I think I'll bring a camera, too and post my findings here...
