Wendy Richardson is president of Nerdy Books which she co-founded in 2000. An entrepreneur since the age of 25, she is a pioneer in the software education industry. In 1991, she launched Software School, Inc. to address the unique training needs of the then fledgling Windows-based graphics industry.

After years of training students, Ms. Richardson discovered hundreds of undocumented shortcuts and tricks that could turn a passive software user into a more skilled, confident user in short order. She soon became passionate about getting the word out about using tips, tricks and shortcuts and co-founded Nerdy Books in 2000.

Ms. Richardson writes, edits and oversees the production of the Nerdy Books family of software tip products. Her experience as a software trainer, writer and graphic designer has helped make her a sought-after speaker. Her presentation style is well-organized, lively and paced to hold the attention of the participants. She injects pure adrenaline in her talks. You’ll find no clock watchers in her presentations!

Bob Flisser

Bob Flisser is Vice President of Nerdy Books, which he helped launch in 2000. A 25-year veteran of the software training and development industry, Mr. Flisser is a respected authority on software usability and efficiency. He has a unique combination of talents as a technologist and educational speaker.

Mr. Flisser’s contributions to Nerdy Books are numerous. They include overseeing the collection, writing and editing of the tips used in the books and e-books, managing the Web presence and developing learning programs and materials. His biggest contribution, though, was providing the inspiration for Professor Nester, one of the 6 characters found in the books.

Bob’s accomplished background has shaped him as an excellent and entertaining speaker who offers his audiences a wealth of knowledge and inspiration. He is a frequent presenter at numerous business organizations and events.
