Online or Onsite. The choice is yours.

Tip Talks offer a unique learning experience no matter which format you choose: onsite presentation, hands-on workshop or live webcast.

On-site Tip Talk Presentation (60 minutes)

Time: 50 minutes with 10 minutes of Q & A following the session.

Presentation Style: Highly structured, fast-paced, topic-specific, goal-oriented demonstration.

Our interactive, in-person Tip Talks offer a unique learning experience with immediate, tangible improvements in efficiency. Our dynamic and entertaining presenters are professionals who speak on many technology subjects. They are accomplished authors of fun computer books (yes, the books really are!) who have distilled their extensive knowledge into ready-to-use skills and approaches. Their techniques are not available anywhere else.
Purpose/Goal: Increase proficiency through shortcuts, tricks and workarounds.

Format: Sessions begin with a brief 5- to 10-minute overview/demo of the features to be covered, continue with a 30-minute live demonstration, then end with a 5- to 10-minute topic review and additional examples. To keep the presentation moving, participants are asked to hold all questions until post-session when the instructor will be available for 15 minutes to answer topic-related questions.

Materials: Participants receive handouts of all topics and tips covered in the talk.

Class Size: Unlimited (up to 20 participants recommended).

Price: $500/session (2 per day minimum)

On-site Tip Talk Workshop (90 minutes)

Time: 75 minutes with 15 minutes of Q & A following the session.

Presentation Style: Fast-paced, topic-specific, interactive demonstration in a computer lab setting

On-site workshops provide the greatest opportunity to a group of participants to maximize learning, retention and performance. In a workshop, each participant sits at a computer and follows along with the presenter. This way, the participants immediately get hands-on experience.
Purpose/Goal: Increase proficiency through shortcuts, tricks and workarounds.

Format: Sessions begin with a brief 5- to 10-minute overview/demo of the features to be covered, then continue with a 60-minute live demonstration. Students will be able to follow along on the computer and ask questions. The instructor will spend the last 20 minutes demonstrating additional examples as well as reviewing the features, tips and shortcuts covered in the session. The session ends with 15 minutes of Q & A.

Materials: Participants will receive handouts of all topics and tips covered in the talk.

Class Size: Up to 10 participants.

Price: $750/session

Online Live Webcast Tip Talk Presentation (60 minutes)

Time: 50 minutes with 10 minutes of Q & A following the session.

Presentation Style: Highly structured, fast-paced, topic-specific, goal-oriented demonstration.

Live webcasts, transmitted via the Internet in real time, can be an ideal solution for your busy company. Participants can log on to the sessions from home, office or the road, eliminating travel expenses and inconvenience. Our live webcasts allow audience members to simultaneously listen to the presentation, follow the speaker’s software demonstrations and interact through online Q&A. Integrated live audio and video preserve the effectiveness and excitement of in-person training sessions, while providing more detailed instruction than a traditional audio teleconference.

Participants may ask topic-related questions at any time; questions will be addressed during a 15 minute Q&A period at the end of the session.

Materials: Participants may download and print handouts of all topics and tips covered in the talk.

Class Size: Up to 20 participants.

Price: $500/session (2 per day minimum.)
